Congratulations to Ken Subratie, ACIS Lab’s PhD Graduate

Congratulations to Ken Subratie, ACIS Lab’s PhD graduate who defended his dissertation on “A Software-defined Overlay Virtual Network with Self-organizing Small-world Topology and Forwarding for For Computing”,  Friday, November 15th. While at ACIS, Ken has also led the open-source development team for IPOP (http://ipop-project.org), and collaborated in PRAGMA and CENTRA projects.

Ken is a doctoral candidate in the College of Engineering (Electrical and Computer Engineering) at the University of Florida. He is currently a Research Assistant in the Advanced Computing and Information Systems (ACIS) Laboratory under the guidance of Dr. Renato Figueiredo. His research interests lie in storage systems, virtual networks, and software system design.
