Catherine Parsons is the the Administrative Assistant to Dr. José A.B Fortes, Professor, AT&T Eminent Scholar and Founder of the ACIS Laboratory in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She has been with the ACIS Laboratory for 4 1/2 years handling Purchasing, PCard, Website Management, Calendars, Communications and Projects. Prior to UF, she worked for a biotech company in Progress Park, Florida as an assistant to the grants administrator and to the president. She holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. She is very proud to be part of the Gator Nation!
