Ying Zhang is a Ph.D student working under the direction of Dr. Jose Fortes in the Advanced Computing and Information Systems (ACIS) Laboratory, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She also works in UF Research Computing as an Application Specialist. Before joining UF, she worked at the Renaissance Computing Institute in North Carolina and in the Computer Science Department at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the area of High-Performance Computing. She received her M.S. degree in Computer Science in Northeastern University. Her research Interests include Parallel Computing, Cloud Computing and Software Defined Systems.
